Description de l'emploi - SENIOR ENGINEER HYDRAULICS/MECHANICS
Our client is a global provider of heavy machinery goods. The Hydraulic Mining Shovel engineering group is seeking individuals to incorporate innovative, leading edge technology in the development of new systems and products. The Systems Engineer works with many engineering disciplines where excellent interpersonal skills and technical depth with machine systems design is necessary.- Provide leadership, technical contributions, consulting, and project administration both as an individual contributor and in a team effort. Interface to both internal and external development teams related to technology development, - Support and interface with product health and production personnel to solve field and factory issues through a Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process,- Provide technical assistance to other departments, developing technical specifications for sales quotations, assisting the manufacturing groups in development of processing methods and procedures and assisting the service department in planning and executing field work,- Participate in the development of machine systems for mining equipment, integrating the latest technological advancements for optimum performance to create reliable, serviceable and cost effective systems,- Prepare CAD models of critical designs by utilizing own conceptual ideas and design expertise,- Coordinate engineering efforts in a global environment to support new system designs and current production,- Review supplier designs for functionality, feasibility, reliability, completeness and conformance with specifications,- Check and approve final designs prepared by others to assure functionality, feasibility, reliability, completeness and conformance with applicable standards,- Conduct Design Reviews and DFMEA�s to ensure system integrity,- Undertake and successfully execute other duties, as assigned,- Work in an environment where diversity of people.
